Package service for overseas studies

       Eximbank provides the following services in its package for overseas studies:
       Overseas studies financing.
       Confirming financial capability.
       Issuing international cards.
       Selling foreign currencies.
       Remitting money overseas: via SWIFT messages or Bankdraft issuance.

Overseas studies financing
Forms:
     Loans to prove financial capability.
     Granting credit limits for overseas studies.
     Loans to pay for overseas studies expenses.

Utilities:
     Maximum lending of 100% of the expenses for overseas studies.
     Long loan tenor, up to 120 months (10 years).
     Quick document processing, competitive fees and interest rates.
     Flexible repayment method.
     Diversified collaterals:
        + Properties.
        + Savings books, deposit account balance, gold or cash foreign currencies.

Loan application documents:
     Loan Application Request (as per form of Eximbank).
     Legal documents of the loan applicant and the guarantor (if any): ID card or passport, family book.
     Papers evidencing the relative relationship (loan applicant and student): family book, birth certificate.
     Documents proving the loan use purpose: fee notification letter (tuition and living expenses), acceptance letter.
     Documents proving sources of income.
     Profiles of collaterals.

Confirmation of financial capability

Eximbank supports customers to prove their financial capability to apply for visa by:
     Opening savings books or accounts.
     Confirming the balance in the savings books or accounts in both Vietnamese and English.


Issuing international cards

Type of cards:
     International debit card Eximbank-Visa Debit: Customers use the balance in their accounts with Eximbank to pay for expenses at any merchants of Visa international cards.
     International credit card Eximbank-Visa, Eximbank-MasterCard: Customers use the funds of Eximbank to pay for expenses at any merchants of Visa and MasterCard international cards.

Utilities:
     Executing card transactions in different currencies and paying to Eximbank in VND.
     Widely transacting at millions of merchants worldwide and easily shopping online.
     No lending interests for payments of goods and services if the card balance is repaid within 45 days.
     Repayment of only a minimum amount on monthly statements before the due date instead of the entire card balance.
     Highly secure and anti-fraud chip-integrated cards in EMV standard.

Required documents:
     International debit card Eximbank –Visa Debit:
      - Application for opening individual accounts (for first-time customers).
      - Request for issuance cum international card agreement (as per form of Eximbank).
      - ID card/passport, valid visa (in case of foreigners). .
     International credit cards Eximbank-Visa, Eximbank-MasterCard:
      - Papers as above.
      - 01 3x4cm photo (the latest).
      - For customers having collaterals: papers confirming the satisfaction of security requirement such as: security deposit slip, commitment for pledging savings books, etc.
      - For customers having no collaterals: Family book, labor contract, appointment decision (if any), working confirmation or guarantee of the current company and other required papers (if any).


Selling foreign currencies

Eximbank satisfies the need of buying cash foreign currencies to pay for tuition fees and living expenses of students or bring overseas:
Utilities:
     Reasonable exchange rate .
     No limit on the amount of foreign currencies which is based on the fee notice.


Outward remittance by SWIFT messages or bankdraft issuance

Utilities:
     Simple procedures and fast remittance and receipt of money.
     Most preferential remittance fees.
     Safe, secure and low cost.
     Supports in customers’ selling foreign currencies for remittance.
     Different currencies for payment at reasonable exchange rates (USD, JPY, EUR, CHF, GBP, AUD, SGD, CAD, and NZD).

Procedures:
     Application for buying, transferring or bringing foreign currencies overseas (as per form of Eximbank).
     Fee notification of foreign schools or training centers sent to students:
      - If such notifications is not sent in the name of the students, the person who transfers or brings foreign currencies must attach the Admission Letter of the training center or papers evidencing that the student is learning at such training center.
      - If the training center does not send a notification about expenses for food, accommodation, and other relevant costs, customers are entitled to transfer or bring an amount of foreign currency equivalent to the living expenses apart from the school fees which have been notified.
     Copy of valid passport and visa. In case of expired visa or no visa, the following papers are needed:
      - Copy of passport along with papers issued by local competent agencies allowing the student to stay and study.
      - As for some countries requiring the transfer of school fees to training centers before issuing visa, customers only need to hand in a notarized copy of passport or un-notarized copy together with the original one for the Bank to compare.
      - As for some countries requiring no visa, customers only need to hand in passport for the first remittance, and enclose with papers evidencing the residence at such country for the following times.

In case the remittance is executed by relatives, the following papers are further required:
     Papers evidencing relative relationship (family book, birth certificate, etc.).
     Copy of ID card and the original for comparison (in case of remitting foreign currencies), copy of passport and the original for comparison (in case of bringing foreign currencies).
     Papers evidencing the Guardian (in case of remitting to the Guardian):
        + Residence papers or papers of the training center stating name of the Guardian or
        + Letter from the training center introducing the foreign institution functioning as the Guardian of the students and
        + Letter of the foreign institution having the function of guarding (introduced by the training center) introducing the name of the Guardian of the students.

Bankdraft issuance:
     Customers fill in the Application for Bankdraft issuance in the form of Eximbank and submit to tellers together with papers evidencing the remittance purpose and relative relationship as regulated.
     Once the set of documents has been approved, customers deposit cash foreign currencies or request Eximbank to sell/exchange foreign currencies to issue Bankdrafts. Then, customers sign and receive Bankdrafts from tellers.
