The student and his/her relatives including: parents, husband, wife, children, brothers and sisters.

Vietnamese citizens can transfer foreign currencies only for overseas study purposes:
- Training organizations
- To the beneficiary on the Notice of School fee.
- The student him/herself.
- The student’s supervisor (in case students are not 18).

When in need of transferring or bringing foreign currencies to pay for school fees, living expenses and others, students can contact with Eximbank to proceed to transfer or bring foreign currencies on submitting these following papers:
- Request to transfer or bring foreign currencies (in Eximbank’s form).
- Notice of school fees from training organizations (hereinafer called training organizations) sent to the student. In case the notice is not sent directly to student, Vietnamese citizens should enclose with letter of acceptance of the training organization or documents certifying that they are learning at that institution.
- In case there is no notice of living expenses and others, Vietnamese citizens can bring, transfer foreign currencies for living expenses school fees.           
- A photocopy of passport with valid visa. In case of invalid visa (due to the fact that some countries only issue visa on the first entrance and extend yearly at local government) or no visa required, please hand in these papers:
+ A photocopy of passport together with papers issued by local government (Immigration Department, Immigration Section, etc.) allowing to study at foreign countries (immigration card, study permission)
+ I-20….)
+ For some countries requiring to transfer school fees to the training organizations before issuing visa (such as Australia or New Zealand…), only submit a certified photocopy of passport or a non-certified one together with the original for presentation.
+ For some countries do not require visa (such as Singapore…), only submit the photocopied passport on the first transfer, and papers certifying the settlement in the local country (like study permit, immigration card, etc.) for following transfers.
- Air ticket (in case of bringing foreign currency cash)

Relatives of students who need to transfer, bring foreign currency to pay for school fees, living expenses or other relevant expenses can contact Eximbank to proceed to transfer or bring foreign currencies on submitting these following papers:
- The mentioned above papers
- Documents certifying relative relationship (family registration book, certificate of birth, etc.)
- A photocopy of ID card together with the original for presentation (in case of transferring foreign currencies), a passport photocopy together with the original for presentation (in case of bringing foreign currencies).
