Economic entities, other organizations and individuals deposit VND to buy foreign currencies from Eximbank have to present documents fully providing information on the purpose, quantity and type of payment currency, payment time in accordance with current F/X control regulations.

Procedures

Please directly contact with the Treasury Department to fix on the rate, term, quantity, payment date, payment method, deposit, etc. to sign a forward contract.
3% deposit of the contract value for USD/VND transactions is required.
7%-10% deposit of the contract value is required for transactions other than USD/VND transactions.
