When I received a statement for the 1st time, there was already "Previous Balance" of VND200,000. Why? |
The previous balance in the 1st statement is the annual fee of the 1st year that customers have to pay for Eximbank. From the 2nd year onward, if the total card transaction volume is equal or higher than the volume defined by Eximbank, annual fee is exempted (At the moment, the defined volume is 30 million VND per year) |

When is the regular debit date in a month? (debit account to pay the debt) |
Statement Issuing date for MasterCard credit card is 20th and Visa credit card is 23rd and Visa Business card is 5th every month. Due date is 15 days after the statement issuing date, including non-working days. From the statement issuing date to the due date, Eximbank will automatically debit the nominated account to pay the debt on the statement. On the due date, if the balance of the nominated account is not enough as customer requested, Eximbank will automatically debit follow the minimum due amount to help customer to avoid late payment fee. |

When I withdrew VND 2 million from ATM, I received cash by 50,000 bank notes at one time and 100,000 bank notes at another time. The 50,000 notes for 2 million are inconvenient to bring in a purse. Why not using 100,000 notes only ? |
According to an official document no.1097 signed by the governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, there are 4 kinds of banknotes required in Vietnam ATMs. They are 20,000 (or 10,000); 50,000; 100,000 and 200,000 notes. Its main purpose is to avoid the unbalance of banknotes into circulation. |
