Promotion 1- Grand Prix Season Singapore Up-Spend Visa Promotion
a. During the Promotion 1 Period, any tourist visiting Singapore who spends a minimum of S$500 over 3 days using his/her Visa Card at any retail or food or beverage merchant outlet in Singapore will be ent itled to one limited edition Xmini™ II Capsule Speaker (“Speaker”), subject to the terms and conditions set out
below (“Promotion 1A”).
b. During the Promotion 1 Period, any tourist visiting Singapore who holds a 2010
FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX ticket and spends a minimum of S$450 over 3 days using his/her Visa Card at any retail or food or beverage merchant outlet in Singapore, will be entitled to one limited edition X -mini™ II Capsule Speaker (“Speaker”), subject to the terms and conditions set out below (“Promotion 1B”).
Terms and Conditions of Promotion 1:
1. This promotion is open to transactions made with all Visa Cards (credit/ debit/
prepaid) regardless of country of issuance, but may be availed only by tourists visiting Singapore (foreign passport of the Visa Cardholder making the transactions must be produced for verification at point of redemption).
2. This promotion is applicable for transactions done within the Promotion 1 Period
only, ie 27 August until 30 September 2010.
3. This promotion is not applicable for transactions for accommodation and airfare
tickets.
4. A maximum of 3 receipts can be accumulated to meet the minimum spend
under Promotion 1A or Promotion 1B, as the case may be.
5. Visa cardholders utilizing Promotion 1A must produce receipts (which must be
issued over a maximum of 3 days during the Promotion 1 Period) to evidence the minimum spend of S$500 on a Visa Card.
6. Visa cardholders utilizing Promotion 1B must produce a 2010 FORMULA 1
SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX ticket as well as receipts (which must be issued over a maximum of 3 days during the Promotion 1 Period) evidencing the minimum spend of S$450, on a Visa Card.
7. A total of 2,000 Speakers are available under the Promotion, on a first come first serve basis.
8. A limit of one Speaker per day per Visa Cardholder applies.
9. Redemption of Speakers can be done at Singapore Visitors Centre @ Orchard.
10. Employees of Visa, STB, and any related agencies carrying out work in relation to this Promotion, as well as their direct family members, shall not be eligible to enjoy the Promotion.
11. Nothing said or implied in the Promotion, or in or by way of participation thereof, shall in any way waive or amend any of the terms or conditions of the existing Visa cardholder agreement with the issuing bank.
12. STB and Visa shall not be responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage that may be incurred or suffered by any person arising from the Promotion (or participation or attempted participation thereof by such person), including but not limited to any loss or damage incurred due to act, omission, deficiency or inadequacy of service rendered by any person or entity involved in offering the privileges under the Promotion.
13. STB and Visa each reserves the rights*:
- To amend, delete or add to any of the terms and conditions of the Promotion;
- To change or substitute the prizes, benefits or privileges (or any portion thereof); and/or
- To cancel, terminate or suspend this Promotion at any time without notice.
* For the avoidance of any doubt, the exercise of any of the above rights by STB or Visa shall not entitle any person or participant in the Promotion to claim for compensation against STB or Visa or any of the participating merchants of the promotion.
14. STB and Visa’s decisions on all matters relating to this Promotion are final and binding, and will be under no obligation to entertain any correspondence, nor will such correspondence be entertained.
Promotion 2 – Grand Prix Season Singapore Ambient Showcase
a. During the Promotion 2 Period, any Visa Cardholder who spends any amount using his/her Visa Card at any retail or food or beverage merchant outlet will be able to “Get Loud” with Singapore’s largest DJ Turntable subject to the terms and conditions set out below (“Promotion 2A”).
b. During the Promotion 2 Period, any Visa Cardholder who spends a minimum amount of S$50 using his/her Visa Card at any retail or food or beverage merchant outlet will be entitled to a free photo opportunity where the cardholder is entitled to one photo postcard as memento subject to the terms and conditions set out below (“Promotion 2B”).
Terms and Conditions of Promotion 2:
1. Receipts must be produced to evidence the minimum spend of S$50 on a Visa Card under Promotion 2B, and a maximum of 3 same-day receipts can be accumulated.
2. This promotion is applicable for transactions done within the Promotion 2 Period only, ie 27 August until 27 September 2010.
3. A limit of one Postcard per day per Visa Cardholder applies for Promotion 2B.
4. Employees of Visa, STB, and any related agencies carrying out work in relation to this Promotion, as well as their direct family members, shall not be eligible to enjoy the Promotion their direct family members.
5. Nothing said or implied in the Promotion, or in or by way of participation thereof, shall in any way waive or amend any of the terms or conditions of the existing Visa cardholder agreement with the issuing bank.
