Note

I/ L/C advice / L/C amendment:
1. Directly inform customer by telephoning customer for coming to Eximbank to receive or amend L/C.

 

2. Advice L/C / amend L/C through the second advising bank

 



- Around 1 working day after authenticating and amending L/C

 


- Informing by sending a letter attached with the original  amendment L/C by post within 1 working day after authenticating and amending L/C.



- In case of not being able to contact the company, around 3 working days after receiving L/C / amendment, Export Bills Department will send a letter by post for reminding.

II/Documents processing:
1.Check and inform the condition of the documents presented by the customer

 

2.Discount export bills claimed by L/C method and money collection

 



- Maximum 1/2 working day after receiving the documents presented or sent via fax/email by the customer


- Reply the company’s discount request within 2 working hours after the customers fully complete documents as per the L/C requirements.

 

 

 



- For sight documentary collections: the customer must have limit of documentary collection discount.


3. Send claimed documents

 

 

- In the working day after fully receiving full  presented documents.

- In order to ensure compliance with DHL delivery time, if full documents are sent after 3 PM, they will be sent to the DHL, but on-forwarded next day.

III/ Pay for export bills

- After receiving and confirming the credit advice for the relevant documents, the customer’s account will be credited as per instruction in the same working day.

Credit Letter

(L/C)

 

Within 4 working hours after receipt of opening LC profile.




-Especially: When having urgent demand, Eximbank will open an L/C around 1 - 2 working hours.

Maximum in 1 working day after receipt of documents.




-Especially: When having urgent demand, Eximbank will advise L/C around 4 working hours upon receipt of documents.

* * For valid documents and endorsed B/L ones for receiving goods in advance:
- Carry out payment as per the LC
- Directly inform the customer payment date for each LC.

* For documents discrepancy:
- Carry out payment as per the L/C conditions
- If discrepancy is accepted after the date specified in the L/C,  payment will be effected on the following day of discrepancy acceptance.

 

 

Documentary collection
(DP & DA)

 

 

Immediately inform  the customer in the same day of receiving receipt

-DP: Pay in the next working day after receipt of the customer’s payment order.

- DA: Pay in maturity date.
